    35Interesting although a little stodgy in places I have already been to Port Sunlight Saltaire and New Lanark and knew some of the history of these 'model' villages Yallop goes into detail than you'd find just visiting these Utopian 'visions' Not only does she dive into the history but she visits the locations in person walking the terraces and actually going into the buildings if they are open to the publicI did find it a bit irritating
