    I have never been to LA and this book makes up for my lack of personal experience in this city The recipes have been culled from so many immigrant cultures in LA and make an interesting collection They seem exotic and intimidating at first glance but they are actually uite doable even for a relatively novice home cook The ingredients may not be readily available if you don't live near an urban setting The photos are great always appreciat
