Review Claiming Bailey (Ace Security Book 3)

Opposites attract in the third Ace Security novel from New York Times bestselling author Susan StokerBailey Hampton will do whatever it takes to keep both herself and her little brother safe from the vicious Inca Boyz gang Hiding out in Castle Rock Colorado is only a temporary solution until she can earn enough money to get out of the state altogeth. This was my first Susan Stoker book and I liked the way she writes a story a lot There s a nice flow to the story without lots of unnecessary angst between the two main characters Nathan was a real doll I absolutely adored him On every page he was exactly how you would want a man to Love and care about you Bailey s past was so horrendous to imagine and pretty hard to read about in some ways but the entire book s philosophy was overcoming the past and not allowing it to determine who you were striving to be in the present That was a great and uplifting message to get from a book that was much than the average romantic suspense What had happened to Bailey s brother was so awful it kept horrifying me to think about it but he was loved so much and it was so heartwarming to read about Nathan s interactions with him This was a very charming love story with a dose of suspense which kept the reader waiting for the other shoe to drop When it did come the uncertainty was very scary and riveting I loved the outcome it was so cleverly done and the book also has a lovely epilogue also which I always find the perfect ending to any book I highly recommend this book It was such a good read

The characters are appealing in a lost puppy dog kind of way. It was refreshing not to have the typical muscle bound alpha male hero and the inexperienced heroine. The tables were turned in this book with Nathan being nerdish and sexually inexperienced and Bailey being used and abused by the gang members until she was wary and tired of men. She comes with lots of baggage: tattoos from the gang, a younger brother with emotional issues, a

Heavens, my heart hurt for Bailey. A believable storyline and great writing kept me engrossed. Nathan may be a computer geek but he shows true colours of an Anderson triplet when he looks out for Bailey and Joel.

Susan Stoker deals with the gang related subject matter in a realistic way.! 100% recommendation, cant wait to read Felicity’s storey!

Ace Security books could be read individually but
